<p>Deletes a single federation.</p>

<p>You will need authorization for the <em>https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform</em> scope to make a valid call.</p>
|
|
<p>If unset, the scope for this method defaults to <em>https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform</em>.
|

You can set the scope for this method like this: <code>metastore1-beta --scope <scope> projects locations-federations-delete ...</code></p>

<h1 id="required-scalar-argument">Required Scalar Argument</h1>
|
|

<li>Required. The relative resource name of the metastore federation to delete, in the following form:projects/{project_number}/locations/{location_id}/federations/{federation_id}.</li>
|

<p>The method's return value a JSON encoded structure, which will be written to standard output by default.</p>

<li><em>out</em> specifies the <em>destination</em> to which to write the server's result to.

It will be a JSON-encoded structure.
|
|
The <em>destination</em> may be <code>-</code> to indicate standard output, or a filepath that is to contain the received bytes.

If unset, it defaults to standard output.</li>

<li>Optional. A request ID. Specify a unique request ID to allow the server to ignore the request if it has completed. The server will ignore subsequent requests that provide a duplicate request ID for at least 60 minutes after the first request.For example, if an initial request times out, followed by another request with the same request ID, the server ignores the second request to prevent the creation of duplicate commitments.The request ID must be a valid UUID (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universally_unique_identifier#Format) A zero UUID (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000) is not supported.</li>
